Gala
The attendance at the Annual Gala has been over 300 strong and growing! Each year, the MCCNC looks forward to creating and presenting a new theme for its major fundraising Gala event. This event features a professional Keynote Speaker that highlights the evening's topic, raffle prizes, and a silent auction.

In 2005, the Cultural Center highlighted “Mexican Music through the Centuries” with keynote speaker Gregorio Luke, Director of the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA . Mr. Luke’s passionate execution had the audience captivated along with singer, Berta Olivia who swooned the crowd with her romantic renditions of the popular “musica ranchera”.   

Last year’s successful 2006 “Baila Conmigo” showcased Latin dances which permeated Mexico’s dance pavilions in the past. Guest Choreographer Jose Borrego and his ensemble of dancers energized the audience with their renditions of danzón, cha-cha and salsa. After the show, all guests were ready to dance.
