MARCO RODRIGUEZ, President
Senior Financial Representative, Principal Finance Group.
Has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from California State University, Sacramento. He began his business career with Principal Finance Group where he continues to serve as Bank Manager and Senior Financial Representative. Marco has dedicated himself to contributing to his community through various non-profit organizations. |

Gloriamalia Perez, Board Member
Partner, RMP Strategies, Inc
Gloriamalia Pérez is a Partner in RMP Strategies, Inc. a governmental solutions and public relations firm. Before assuming this position, Gloriamalia held management positions in the California Attorney General’s Office, California Arts Council and El Teatro Campesino. Gloriamalia is a graphic designer with two (2) Masters Degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. She enjoys promoting the arts, working with artists and creating her own work. While she enjoys the arts and cultures of all nations, Gloriamalia’s favorites are the arts and cultures of Mexico! |

CAROLINA ROJAS-GORE, Secretary
Director of Public Relations UNIVISION 19/Telefutura 64
She is the Director of Public Relations for UNIVISION 19 and brings her media experience to the Center while assisting in the fundraisers. Carolina has had a relationship with the Cultural Center for various periods and is passionate in promoting the traditions, customs and culture of Mexico. |

Fernando Ortiz, Treasurer
President, Elevator Controls
A graduate of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico City, Fernando holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He completed all course work towards a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from CSUS. Fernando has been the President of Elevator Controls Corporation for 20 years.
Fernando’s community involvement includes serving on the board of director’s for the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for two terms. Other involvement includes serving as coach for the Fruitridge Youth Soccer League for several years. He is member of the CSUS Chicano/Latino Alumni. |

RICHARD HERNANDEZ, Board Member
Director, Human Resources Sacramento Hyatt Regency
He is the Director of Human Resources at the Hyatt Regency, Sacramento and co-chair of the fundraising committee for the MCCNC. Richard has always found tremendous satisfaction and appreciation of the arts, being able to support those activities which preserve Mexican culture. |

Rosa Rivera-Lew, Board Member
Proprietor, Dragonfly Restaurant
Rivera and her husband own and operate the Dragonfly Restaurant in the Capitol area of Sacramento. She has experience in the retail industry. She is fluent in reading and writing Spanish and had the opportunity to accompany State Senators Jackie Speier and Martha Escutia on a trade mission to Mexico. She developed Deseos, a company that works with artists from Mexico. She is on the Crocker Contemporaries Advisory Board and the board of The Mexican Cultural Center of Northern California, MCCNC. She was a speaker for PBWC Professional Businesswomen of California Conference session for "Enterprising Women of Fine Dining." |

Supervising Deputy City Attorney, Office of the City Attorney, Sacramento.
Gustavo works as the Supervising Deputy City Attorney at the Office of the City Attorney, Sacramento. Gustavo has worked with many different non-profit organizations, which gives him a great amount of experience that will aid in his contributions to the Center. |

Juan Jimenez , Board Member
Financial Consultant, Wells Fargo
Our newest Board Member is Juan J. Jiménez. Juan graduated from Chico State University. He holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Management. His expertise is implementing strategic planning and investments. As a Financial Consultant of Wells Fargo, Juan has the necessary vision of bringing funds to the MCCNC. His financial experience is a great asset to the Board of Directors. |

Rosa M. Escutia
Community Relations Manager, PG&E
Rosa M. Escutia manages community relations for Pacific Gas and Electric, Greater Sacramento. She is part of a team who supports one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States and enjoys servicing approximately 15 million people in northern and central California.
Previous to entering the utility industry Ms. Escutia was the Director of Public Relations for the California Lottery. Appointed by Governor Gray Davis in 2003, she oversaw the planning and directing of the Lottery’s comprehensive communications program that has raised more than $17 billion dollars for California public schools, since 1985.
Ms. Escutia also served as a gubernatorial appointee to Davis in 2001 in the capacity of Public Affairs Director for the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. She led the Department’s efforts in managing all media relations involving California’s alcohol and drug prevention, treatment and recovery issues. One of the issues garnishing frequent media and public attention was Proposition 36, a $120 million dollars a year initiative voted into law in November 2000 by California’s voters. Previous to her gubernatorial appointments she served as Interim Communications Director for the California Department of Information Technology, the statewide agency charged with overseeing the State’s millions of dollars technology investment; and, also worked in various professional civil service capacities.
Graduating in 1992 from the California State University, Sacramento, Ms Escutia received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communication Studies. Her passion for education, government, and community has motivated her participation in various organizations, including: Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, CSUS Chicano/Latino Alumni Association; Personnel Management Association of Aztlan; Latina Management Institute; and, Hispanics Organized for Political Equality, Northern California. |
